A night to remember . . .

The inaugural edition of the Vogue x Nykaa Fashion: The Power List awards ceremony premiered on December 7th, 2019 at the St. Regis Hotel, Mumbai. The event celebrated established designers, emerging talents and Bollywood fashion ambassadors. The Power List comprised of thirty categories such as the Best Menswear/Womenwear, Style Icon of the Year, Emerging Fashion Stars and Rising Stars - Accessories (in which Deepa Gurnani was the recipient). The event was attended by the who’s who of the fashion industry: Sabyasachi, Tarun Tahilyani, Manish Malhotra, Anita Dongre, Masaba Gupta and more. Bollywood stars like Sharmila Tagore, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Sara Ali Khan, Jhanvi Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty Kundra graced the awards gala.  New and upcoming stars like Yami Gautam, Aditi Rao Hyadri, Radhika Apte, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Vicky Kaushal also attended the event with their energetic, fresh vibe.

The event fused the film and fashion fraternity in a grand manner. The most notable facet of the Power List was categories like the Emerging Fashion Star (Female), Emerging Fashion Star (Male), Rising Star (Bridal,) Rising Star (Menswear), Rising Star (Women’s Wear) and Rising Star (Accessories).  Six category winners were chosen by people’s votes on the Nykaa Fashion website.   Deepa Gurnani, our high-ended accessory brand, was the proud recipient of the Rising Star Accessories Award.  We were extremely grateful for the recognition, honored to be chosen via our fans' voting.
